Job Description
Reports to the CEO    Job location: Richmond County           Status: Part-time/Hourly

Summary: This position provides professional support and assistance to the CEO and Communications Manager through good, basic administrative assistant skills that include the ability to maintain confidentiality, accuracy and respect for the office of the CEO and for the members of the organization.   This position remains flexible at all times, and willing to accept other duties as assigned by the CEO. 25-30 hours per week

 Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Serves as front desk receptionist: answers phone, schedules appointments, handles outgoing mail
  • Assist with coordinating of special events
  • Assemble and maintain organization’s marketing materials
  • Maintain office supplies
  • Daily upkeep of records, files, correspondence, messages, etc.
  • Provides administrative support for all functions related to the organization
  • Frequent contact with customers, visitors, staff, vendors and volunteers
  • Serves as assistant to the Communications Manager

High School Diploma/GED required. Associates Degree, Certificate in accounting/business and/or experience in business office or non-profit organization a plus.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, employee should have experience with:
  • Windows software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Working knowledge of QuickBooks accounting software or other known accounting software is a plus
  • Social media experience a plus (FaceBook, Instagram, LinkedIn)
 Job Knowledge/Skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work both in teams and independently
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously and effectively with a high degree of accuracy
  • Have strong customer service focus and relationship building abilities
  • Ability to consistently meet project deliverables and deadlines and to follow up rigorously
  • Embody a positive, do whatever it takes attitude
