Nationally Acclaimed Radio Host and Author to Speak at BLOOM! Event
 
 
PINEHURST – Mike McGrath, host of the nationally syndicated public radio show, “You Bet Your Garden®,” will be the featured speaker at Bloom! on Tuesday, October 23 at 5 p.m. at the Country Club of North Carolina. 
 
McGrath, the former editor-in-chief of Organic Gardening magazine, is a contributing editor and columnist for Green Prints Magazine and author of numerous books.
 
The event is open to the public. Tickets are $25 and may be purchased in advance by email to FoundationRSVP@firsthealth.org or by phone to (910) 695-7512.
 
Bloom! is a presentation of The Healing Garden Society of The Foundation of FirstHealth.  It offers purposeful and engaging programs on gardening and horticulture to benefit the Society’s endowment for The Healing Garden.  
 
The Healing Garden is located at the Clara McLean House on the FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital campus in Pinehurst.
